I truly enjoyed my stay here. the staff were incredibly friendly, and I made great use of the convenient access to nearby parks and attractions like Capron Park Zoo, which is just a quick drive away at about 4.5 km, perfect for a nature lover like me.

Decent amenities available, including a heated indoor pool perfect for some post-travel relaxation. The complimentary breakfast offered various options, though I didn't get a chance to enjoy it after the fire evacuation incident.

The fire alarm went off early during my stay due to a guest mishap in the breakfast area, leading everyone to evacuate around 6:15 am. It was canceled afterward, and no alternate arrangements were provided for breakfast or coffee, which was a letdown. Additionally, there was a noticeable strong chemical smell in the room initially, presumably from cleaning products, though it faded over time. Some lights were out in the room I had, and the jacuzzi jets were entirely non-functional, making it a bit uncomfortable for my mini getaway. Furthermore, I found the mattress cheap and lumpy, which didn’t help with my back pain. Overall, there were several comfort issues that stacked up against an otherwise average stay.

The night manager provided excellent service. The room was clean and comfortable. Location was fantastic, making it easy to explore the area. I appreciated that my dog could stay with us, which made the experience even better!
